Reply To An Article in the Jerusalem Post: "Weren't There Other Ways to Induce Hamas to Stop Shelling

Sir-“Weren't there other ways to induce Hamas to stop the shelling?” is the dumbest article I’ve read yet concerning what’s going on today in Gaza. Leave it to a fellow Jew to find equanimity between Israel and these devil worshipping killers. Has Rosenberg ever asked himself why Gaza had to be blockaded to begin with? Has he taken the time to read portions of the Qur’an, the Hadith, or the Sunnah, particularly the references these pillars of Islam make toward the Jews? Has he examined the Hamas Charter of 1988 and seen what the goals of these monsters are and from whence they get their inspiration? Does he realize that the Jewish people have not known a moment’s peace from this cult in 1300 years? In every conquered area of the world Jews have known nothing but debasement and codified humiliation from the “true believers.” Forced conversions; expulsions; defilement of our women; the imposition of the poll tax known as the jizya; and the system of dhimmitude that’s lasted through four caliphates and the Ottoman Empire. Not to speak of the pogroms, synagogue burnings, and mass murder of our people during the years of our disenfranchisement. I was especially touched by his reference to the tears flowing down Yasser Arafat’s cheek at the funeral of Yitzhak Rabin. I must have missed him at the services that were held for Leon Klinghoffer after his cowardly thugs threw the poor man off the cruise ship, wheelchair and all.

To quote Maimonides regarding our oppression by the Arabs, “the nation of Ishmael…persecutes us severely and devises ways to harm us and debase us.” Sound familiar? It could have been written today. The only thing different now is the Jews having a homeland and a powerful nation to defend them. As well as, a wonderful righteous country called the United States to back them up. The last thing in the world our people need are the age old pusillanimous “uncle Hymies” that find common cause with our enemies while deeming our right to defend ourselves less than righteous.

Peace? If you want a lasting peace move out of that terrible neighborhood and go live in Hawaii. But if you wish to stay in the Jewish homeland there can never be a true peace; at best an accommodation but never peace. Moderates? There are no moderates amongst them; only crazies and crazier crazies. Their behavior is dictated by their deity. For Muslims to change they would have to abrogate their Qur’an, the message given to them directly from G-d. I don’t see that happening too soon.
